He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
- Isiah 40: 29-31

I am formulating a plan. It is called:

OPERATION MATADOR

(hee)

Objective - To make birthday presents out of clay.

Summary - Get up in the middle of the night and make birthday presents out of clay, because there's no time during the day and my mum won't let me.

Stuff needed:
- Newspapers: stash behind table beforehand
- Clay - in my drawer
- Water in a container - can use mineral water bottle
- Damp plastic bag - just...get a plastic bag...and...make it damp...
- Somewhere to let the clay dry - uh...maybe I can hide it on the high shelf or something ><
- Model sheets - draw. At least 2D. How many am I going to do?
- Light - Table lamp. Must wait till I'm sure mum and dad are asleep. Maybe wake up around 1 am.
- Paint/brushes/etc - not immediate. I have poster paint, anyway. And brushes.
- Cloth to clean up - hmm...oh dear...

Largest Obstacles:
- Ideas ): for more of them
- Somewhere to dry the things! It needs 4-5 days DD: Putting it near a heat source speeds up the process. But I don't have a heat source.
- Lack of enough clay? (make them smaller)
- Lack of experience...
- BROTHER. Either I do it before he comes back from China, which is this Thursday, or I manipulate him to make him sleep in my parents' room. x( How? Maybe he'll want to sleep with my parents since he is homesick in China.

Things to take note:
- Clay should be kept in a wet plastic bag to keep it from drying out
- Clay needs 4-5 days to dry

Process:
- Set handphone alarm to wake me up at 1 am
- Check if parents are asleep. If they aren't, go back to sleep after setting alarm for 2 am. If they are still awake at 2 am, wait till the next night.
- Turn on table lamp
- Spread newspapers on the floor.
- Open packet of clay.
- Refer to model
- Make the things
- Put them on top of the files and stuff on the top shelf and hope they dry

I hope this operation is successful.

(I'm not joking. I'm really going to do it. But maybe I should get my mum to let me do it openly instead of sneaking around at night. That'd be so much simpler.)
